Have a site in which we currently have samba deployed, but I do not like the existing configuration..... What I'd like to do is deploy it in such a manner that the environment can be made redundant, not necessarily "clustered" - but in the case of a server crash, another server could easily be brought up to replace the main server. What I'm looking at is how to store user information for redundancy - with regards to samba, which is better for this situation - interfacing samba to OpenLDAP or NIS/yellow pages??
