samba - Jul 2003 - Unable to connect to SAMBA SERVER

I have installed Samba 3.0 beta and when I try to connect to the samba
server from Win2ksever, the error messages I see is \\hostname
<file:///\\hostname>  is not accessible.  Can someone please let me know
what I am doing wrong here?
