i have sco open server 5.0.5 .for installing samba every thing is ok until testing with pestparm and after that. the error that testparm gives is as followes : "... ERROR:lock directory /usr/local/samba/var/lockes does not exist. ... " my "smb.conf" file is as followes: **************** [global] workgroup=BILLING encrypt passwords=yes [test] comment= for testing only path=/export/samba/test read only=no guest ok=yes **************** after that by running : "smbd -D" and "nmbd -D" the result of running smbclient -L setad is as followes : "timeout connecting to 210.210.210.2:139 Error connecting to 210.210.210.2(operation already in progress) connection to setad faild " please tell me what is my problem? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
