samba - Mar 2002 - max file size

hello !

is there any config parameter to set the max file size that is copyed 
to a linux samba server ?

when i try to copy 1 file (bigger that 2GB) to the samba server
when it reaches about 60%-65% the "transfer" stops !

did any of you had this problem before ?

Check the maximum allowed file size for the OS that Samba is running on. 
Also check the file manipulation utilities.

The samba server is running on Suse 7.3 i386 !
And for the rest, where do i check the max OS file size and the file
manipulation utilities !?
