Nope it all went well. On the PDC there is a compuetr account for the UNIX
box and services 00h, 03h and 020h (i think is shown in that from NT side).
Thanks???

Did you get any errors when you ran 'smbpasswd -j DOM -r DOMPDC' ?

Hi all,
Has anybody got samba to get authenticated through a NT/2000 PDC?. In my
site when the machine name is double clicked it shows the shares but
prompts a password to map/open the share. Samba server is in the same
domain as the machines i check. Other machine(windows) can be accessed
without a password being retyped. Samba version is 2.2.3 and winbind is
setup. Any hints as of how to know whether winbind is working properly.
Thanks in advance
