First time caller... Running Samba 2.2.2 on HPUX 10.20. The desktop client is Windows 2000 on a switched 10mb line with several (3 or 4) different Samba shares mounted. The problem is when accessing/opening an Explorer Window or doing something as simple as a "Save As" within MS word, we get a long pause (30-45 seconds) with the desktop appearing to just lock/freeze up. Everything works fine if the desktop client is NT 4.0 or the Windows 2000 PC is on a 100mb line. Any ideas or suggestions on how to handle the Windows 2000 on 10mb line issue? (And yes, we are looking upgrade our network to 100mb but that is not happening overnight..) Thank you, Randy
