I already posted this question but it was confusing. Here is the short version: I can change the permissions of existing members of an ACL but not add new ones. I have tried it with NIS and Winbind (not at the same time). Any help would be most appreciated. Setup: RedHat 7.2, Kernel 2.4.18 with acl patch Samba 2.2.3a compiled with --with-acl-support, --with-nis, and --with-pam. Thanks, -Bill ---- Bill Town Kontiki, Inc.
