If you use a utility like webmin, you'll see that if
you go with the classic way of implying groups with
just the @DOM+groupname it gets screwed up. so we need
to use quotation marks. "@"DOM+Domain Group"
i have seen numerous syntax examples... if you look at
my smb.conf file, the following stuff is working,
however I have seen it implied several different ways
it seems.
my print$ share simply has Domain Admins , and my
domain admins can administer the printers.... ???? but
this is the example Gerald Carter gave me .... so I am
usin it :)
[print$]
path = /var/lib/samba/printers
browseable = yes
read only = yes
write list = " @"Domain Admins" root " #@adm
# create mask 0644
directory mask = 0775
[printdrivers]
path = /home/prtdrvrs
writable = yes
write list = "@"MAP_DOMAIN+Domain Users" root"
