samba - Feb 2002 - %a macro

In samba 2.2.1a win98 is identified as win95 using the %a macro.  Has this 
been done on purpose? I am only asking because I am trying to link roaming 
profiles in the following way

logon home \\%L\%U\%a\.profiles

and then use system links for documents and so on

just a quick point are win95 and win98 reg entries interchangable because I 
continually have problems with roaming profiles.

The %a macro is determined by observing capabilites in the 
negprot request from the client.  IN this respect,  Win95 and Win98
are the same OS...
