[Samba] Please help! Urgent. Unable to browse computer's shareds
Hi all, a update my cvs today (about 10:00 am UTC). recompiled it, installed (but twice so that I cannot return to the earlier version). Our problem is that nobody can connect to any shares. Only people that were connected to the samba server are able to use the shares. I am using winbindd, smbd, nmbd. I stopped and started all smb processes several times (including kill -9). Now when I go in my NT Workstation to Network Neighborhood and double-click the server I receive the message The remote procedure call failed and did not execute. The same thing happens from command prompt. E:\>net view \\esrv2 System error 1727 has occurred. The remote procedure call failed and did not execute. The funny thing is that when I map a drive using a direct share name everything works, but I don't see the Security tab in winNT file properties dialog. What could I have don wrong. Thank all in advance.
