I forget the whole set up but:
Is IT_8000N the printer share or the host?
Can the printer handle a straight text file?
You will have to arrange a print filter on the linux side, perhaps.
What kind of printer is it? Let's hope it is a postscript printer.
When you say it doesn't work, what kind of error message are you getting on
the screen.
