samba - Apr 2001 - samba as domain member, access control by domain group membership?

I've searched the documentation, combed the archives and watched the
list for a while, and I haven't been able to find a conclusive answer as
to whether what I want is even possible.

I've got two Samba servers (one 2.0.7, one 2.2.0) functioning as members
of an NT domain.  Both of them do beautifully with lists of individual
user ID's, but I'd like to make some shares available based on
membership in one of our domain groups so that I don't have to worry
about keeping my access list synchronized with what our NT admin does.

Possible?  Pointers?
