Yes, it does.
The smb request/replies go across port 139, all the way from when you do a
negotiate protocol, sessionsetup&x, tcon&x, and pretty much everything
inbetween.
The ports 137 and 138 are mostly used for broadcast, name resolution, net
sends,
etc.
