If I'm doing NT domain authenication, can I still use a group access method? In other words, if I place a dozen people in a group called appsgrp on my Sun box, is there a place in the smb.conf/SWAT where I can just put this group name and grant the appsgrp access to that share even though they will be authenticating against an NT domain? Thanks, Daniel
Have you tried adding "valid users = @appsgrp" to the share def? -mike> > If I'm doing NT domain authenication, can I still use a group > access method? > > In other words, if I place a dozen people in a group called > appsgrp on my Sun box, is there a place in the smb.conf/SWAT > where I can just put this group name and grant the appsgrp > access to that share even though they will be authenticating > against an NT domain? > > Thanks, > > Daniel > >
