samba - Jan 2001 - I would like to connect to the samba server from an other network segment

Hi, i would like to know if it's possible to connect directly to the linux
box (samba) from an other egment of my network, i can't see the server from
others segments, if i connect to a novell server after that i can connect
with net use t: \\server_name\share. Is it possible to connect to samba
from an other egment if my routers are novell 3.12 routers ???
