In Bruce Rogers' message of 10/00, he recommended that if transfers from samba to win2k were slow, adding this to smb.conf might help: socket options =3D TCP_NODELAY socket options =3D SO_RCVBUF=3D1 socket options =3D SO_SNDBUF=3D1 i can verify that on red hat 6.1, on my K63 400, with either a linksys etherfast or kingston kne30bt card (i forget which, the machine has both), this does the trick. win2k can download! thank you, Bruce Rogers! bryan mcnett
