samba - Jan 2001 - 1200 Printers

We have 1200 Printers only spooling on several NT-Servers. We tried
to move them to a Linux-Box with SAMBA. The Box has around 512MB Memory. 
Starting up SAMBA with 1200 lprng-Printers generates a smbd-process which
needs around 200MB Memory. The process grows and grows when using the
printers.

Are the any tuning-options to decrease consumption of memory?

Check the mailing list archives on samba-technical for 
a reference to this bug.  I don;t have the exact patch URL
handly right now.

You can also try 'load printers = no'
