I am able to map a network drive in both dos and windows explorer, but when i go to network neighborhood, i get an error saying unable to browse network. the samba server is set as a PDC and that is working correctly. Do you have a WINS server? Does the Samba box know about it? If you don't, set up the Samba box to be the wins server and set all your Win boxen up to use it. If Samba is your PDC, set it to also be your "master browser" as well as your "domain master browser" (under Globals -> Advanced view, I beleive). HTH!
