Probably you've patched your kernel with the openwall security fix. If you disable destroy shared memory segments not in use it recompile your kernel it will work perfectly. with regards, Tijmen Hennink On Tue, 19 Dec 2000, Mathieu Masseboeuf wrote:> Hi, > > I have the exact same problem here ... > Does anyone have an answer to this ? > > |[2000/12/14 07:59:30, 0] locking/shmem_sysv.c:sysv_shm_open(667) > | Can't create or use IPC area. If answer is "yes", You must reinstall samba from 2.2.x (alpha) release, beacuse it's a bug in 2.0.x (share memory + semaphors) if answer is "no" I dont know :) mkm Administrator Systemow Operacyjnych mailto: mkm@zetokat.com.pl http://3279222780/ +48032581067, +48032580421 wew.238, 0607 162-041
