I have connected to my server via Samba using win95 but when using win98 I can see the server but unable to log in. I am asked for a password to connect to the server but win98 keeps rejecting the password. If I return to win95 the password is OK. Any advice as to my next step or where I should be looking in the manual would be grately appreciated. Regards. -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed

Regards.Hello It is my understanding that you have to have encrypt passwords set to connect with Win98. Here is how you do it. Add this setting to the [global] section and add the users as the otheir post suggested. [global] encrypt passwords = Yes Hope this helps Joseph -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed
