Called name not present error - samba 2.0.7, SPARC Solaris 2. 7
OK folks, does this mean that noone has a clue? More developments: Now installed 2.2-beta1 and I still get the exact same error, however I have now turned logging on and get the following in my log file: [2000/12/06 10:51:43, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(165) Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Bad file number) [2000/12/06 10:51:43, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(165) Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error Bad file number) [2000/12/06 10:53:00, 1] smbd/files.c:file_init(152) file_init: Information only: requested 10000 open files, 1014 are available. would these be causing the problem?
