samba - Sep 2000 - dos attributes for win98 c lients?

Hello!

Which permissions are needed for a share (with security = user) to allow 
win9x workstations to set dos attributes?

Hi, Dirk.

This works for me:
In the [Global] section, I have:

        map hidden = Yes
        map system = Yes
        map archive = Yes
        create mask = 0777
        directory mask = 0777

You could instead add these lines to the specific share if there's only one
that should have the desired behavior.
