Hi. I was hoping to search the archives, but I can't find them anymore...
Situation, we had been using Quickbooks via mapped drives to Windows
shares, and that was fine. We moved the Quickbooks data files (shared) to
a samba share, and it works, but it seems EXTREMELY slow in functionality.
Any clues? I'm using PIII-733MHz, RedHat 6.1, kernel-2.2.16, and
samba-2.0.7
The smb.conf details for the share are:
[company]
comment = Company Folder
path = /home/samba/company
public = no
writable = yes
printable = no
vaild users = +company
write list = +company
admin users = +company
force group = +company
