samba - Mar 2000 - The passwd sync chat doesn't seem to work OK.

I'm trying samba-2.0.3 and can't make the passwd sync chat work.

Here is the debug

This is an anexpected response. Why? Instead of "." I try
"*" and I had got a
worse result.

Maybe your problem is unrelated, but before going on testing passwd
sync, you'd better upgrade to samba-2.0.6 which fixed a password sync
timing problem with certan os.
