[snip ..] Hi, I have not setup any Samba server in conjunction with a NT PDC, but the error message means that there is a problem with encryption. On a stand-alone Samba Server I would say that you have misconfigured one of the following things: - Samba expects plain text passwords but client uses encrypted password or vice versa - smbpasswd file is not setup correctly. Maybe this information (see also ENCRYPTION.TXT in the source distribution) helps you a little further.
