Strange error when no more space on device (off topic)
While doing some speed testing i tried copying a LARGE file (256 Mb) to a samba share. Near the end (262.140 Kb written) the device was full, as i found out by reading the logs. But the WinNT machine gave me a very strange error message, as seen in the attachment. Trying to read the file (which was still open) gave me a nice unknown I/O 999 runtime error and slowed my machine (PII/128MbRAM) to a crawl. I understand this has nothing to do with Samba (i think), but might be interesting ... -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
