I'm trying to log into a Samba server, but I get this error: [1999/06/02 11:24:51, 4] passdb/pass_check.c:(792) Checking password for user shltch (l=10) [1999/06/02 11:24:51, 3] smbd/error.c:(133) error packet at line 840 cmd=115 (SMBsesssetupX) eclass=2 ecode=2 [1999/06/02 11:24:51, 3] smbd/error.c:(143) error string = Invalid argument [1999/06/02 11:24:51, 5] lib/util.c:(452) size=35 smb_com=0x73 smb_rcls=2 smb_reh=0 smb_err=2 smb_flg=136 smb_flg2=1 [1999/06/02 11:24:51, 5] lib/util.c:(460) smb_tid=0 smb_pid=2360 smb_uid=0 smb_mid=1 smt_wct=0 Does anyone know what this error message means or could mean? Some info about my installation: - DEC UNIX 4.0 - ran with ./configure --with-dfs - I'm using smbclient on the same machine to do this test (more specifically, test 7 from the diagnosis.txt file) - I have also tried giving the username/password at the command line w/ this -U option Thanks for any help or pointers, Seth shltch@osfmail.isc.rit.edu
