Hi: I am trying to connect a computer at a different location to my server. The computer is running Win 95, and the server is running Linux, I am using Samba to connect the other Win 95 machines in my office to my server. I initially set up this computer in my office, and then brought it to the remote office. I thought all I needed to change was the IP address, the Gateway, and the domain name to get this computer to connect to my server. This computer is using a different (IP router). However, this has not worked. I can access the internet and my e-mail, so I know that the network connection is good. I can also ping and telnet to my server. I thought the only change I would need to make to the smb.conf file would be to add the IP address to the allow host section. Is there something that I am missing? I would appreciate any advice that people might have. Thanks. Matt
