samba - May 1998 - debug level

can i specify a debug level for a specific host?

in your smb.conf add the line "include %U.conf"

edit a file and name it "<your user's name here>.conf"
add the line "debug level = <what you want>"

you can add how ever many users you would like.

BTW this is also on the Samba Web Pages in Section 3 Exporting files to SMB
Clients.

in main smb.conf
	log file = log.%m 
	include  = smb.conf.%m

in smb.conf.%m where %m is the netbios machine name of the client
	debug level = 100
