After I rebooted a unix server running Solaris 2.5.1, I was having problems with people being unable to access shares through Windows 95 or Windows NT that they had previously been able to access. I was able to fix the problem by setting public=yes for all the shares, but now people are having problems accessing some of the directories under the shares. Sometimes doing chmod 777 does the trick, but it doesn't always work, and even if it did, I would not consider it a true fix, since we need better security on those shares. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks. Leah
