I need a reverse samba. I need to be able to mount NT directories on a
Unix box.
Anyone know of such an animal?

Hello Aaron, Hello Samba Readers, on Samba Digest 1386 I asked the same question and Ben Stuyts <benst@nemesis.stuyts.nl> (Hoi!) proposed me on Samba Digest 1387 to use RUMBA. You can find it in: ftp://hal.kph.tuwien.ac.at/pub/NeXT/tools/rumba/ ftp://next-ftp.peak.org/pub/next/apps/utils/networks/ it was written for NeXTSTEP and it should also work fine under FreeBSD. I still haven't managed to get it running under IRIX therefore I can't tell you how stable it is. If you -or someone else out there- find a better solution (for IRIX) please contact me. This is for the Samba Team: how about implementing such a feature in future releases? Linux is able to mount SMB shares (include SMB filesystem in the kernel). Don't know how far suppoort for other unixes exists. Other way: Isn't NT able to provide NFS 'shares'?
