I can make a version with this patch, only thing is i can test it, but not good. And tomorrow day of here kings day.. If anyone wants the 4.8.1 in debian stretch package with the above patch for a test setup? I can make 2 versions of the 4.8.1, one with and one without the patch. I personally wouldn't create either version, without the patch it is just like 4.8.0 and will not work as an upgrade, with the patch it doesn't match the 4.8.1 tarball. I have asked why it didn't go in and will update further. Rowland

I excitedly downloaded 4.8.1 and performed an in-place upgrade from 4.7.7 and have hit a bunch of issues.
