rsync - Aug 2006 - --fuzzy works with --link-dest?

Hi!

Does --fuzzy also look for files in dirs mentioned with --...-dest? My
special intrest lies in --link-dest, though.

No, --fuzzy only looks in the same directory as the destination file.
There was a rather heated debate about whether it should look in
--*-dest directories on bug 3392:
