For my part I used it, and to generate the new synchronized file, I had to copy
(fread) all the delta file into an input memory buffer (input for the library),
so as to get the library working.
That means I have to buffer all the delta file into the memory.
Were you able to cut the delta file into several pieces to feed to the library ?
For my part I was unable to do it.

While this isn't the librsync mailing list, I do know that the basic
librsync tools (and indeed, the library itself) only support creating a
new file, not merging changes into an existing file.
