Good of you to send the patch. A better name for the option
would be delete-src or the more accurate delete-sent because
would delete remote files if doing a pull.
Aside from other factors this particular patch strikes me as
risky because there is no conformation of successful syncing.
If for some reason (full disk for instance) a file transfer
fails the source is still deleted.
There was a brief thread on this same issue with the subject
"Revisiting two old issues" a few weeks ago. I'd suggest
you check that out.
