thanks for your response, but I had did the "disable = no"
editting of the telnet, ftp files.....still didn''t work.........
But, I did manage to fix it. I went to "chkconfig --list",
turned on somethings, flushed my ipchains, reloaded
xinetd and it worked.
Got a suggestion to go to www.redhat.com......found
a discussion group that had a similar problem.
