Redhat secure server - Dec 1998 - DSO Compiling

I have been trying to compile the fastcgi module as a DSO using  the
"apxs" script. However, in the buff.h in /usr/include/apache there is
a
statement:

#ifdef mod_ssl
#include <ssl.h>
#endif

which causes "apxs -c mod_fastcgi.c" to fail.

I have installed both the secureweb source and secureweb development,
but there is no ssl.h file anywhere on my system. How do we compile a
module with DSO?

yes.  This was a bug in the secureweb-devel package, which will be fixed
as part of the upcoming bugfix release.  For now, remove this from the
buff.h file, and edit out the ssl stuff from /usr/sbin/apxs as well.
