Hey all! I finally took the time to modify the todo list tutorial to work with version 0.9.1. It surprisingly took less time than I thought (only a few things to change in the beginning of the tutorial, the rest worked the same.) So you can see the new version at: http://darkhost.mine.nu:81/~vince/rails/tutorial.html Let me know what you think. If all''s good, I''ll paste the think on Hieraki. Be on the look out for spelling or grammar errors, incorrect words (I''m a native french speaker, so my english is not the best around), etc. When all''s good and fixed, I''ll get it on Hieraki. I also had a few ideas about the tutorial that I wanted to run by you guys: 1. Internationalization: I read the thread where everybody introduced him/herself and we had people from all around the world, speaking all sorts of languages. It would be nice if people could translate the tutorial. I can take care of the french version (in fact, I will during Xmas vacation) 2. Sequels: it would be nice if there were "sequels" to the todo list tutorial, like using it to show how to do unit and functional testing, or others that could introduce more advanced features (logon, multiple tables, advanced features of rails or new ones I haven''t mentionned in the tutorial, CSS, refactoring, etc.) Think about it, and let me know what you think. Maybe you could mention Breakpoints as a debugging aid somewhere.

After cleaning up the tutorial (some bugs with Textile), I''ve now published it on Hieraki: http://rails.hieraki.org/read/book/7 Enjoy! Vincent. Vincent, It would be nice to add a simpler Rails installation instructions for Windows developers. Simply put, you just have to have installed: Ruby Installer for Windows (it comes with all you need: mysql bindinds, gem, webrick, etc) MySql Rails (for this, you only have to type "gem install rails" Anyway, great tutorial. It really makes things easier to convince new developers for Rails using your tutorial.
