Some of you have probably already seen it in action reading the new rails 0.9 docs or read my tibits about it on the list. So i felt like i should at least formally announce the project. Welcome Hieraki =========== Hieraki is a collaborative book writing tool which combines the best part of the common wiki with a hierarchy (hence hiera-ki). Hieraki is released under the MIT license which means you can do whatever the hell you want with it. Currently Hieraki is under strong development; please visit the homepage at www.hieraki.org or the development tracker at dev.hieraki.org where you can also browse the source code online. Hieraki was build from the ground up with rails .9 and currently has seen about 10 hours of development by me. I believe that this is a great indication for just how great rails is. If you have any tutorials or documents about rails which need a new home in an community and non static environment please drop me an email and apply for an author account on rails.hieraki.org. I hope that Hieraki will become the central place for rails documentation with all the bells and whistles a good documentation tool should have like full text search and pdf export. P.S: Major thanks go out to David who had the idea for the project as well as the name and who motivated me to get started. http://rails.hieraki.org - rails 0.9 documentation http://dev.hieraki.org - hieraki trac -- Tobi http://blog.leetsoft.com
