The page you reference is rather complicated. It is not something a "newbie" should expect to be able to do. Things you''ll need to know: - CSS positioning - Using Javascript + Prototype + Scriptaculous for Effect.Move functionality - Lazy loading of images While the page you reference is different and interesting, I don''t find the interface very effective.
