Rails spinoffs - Mar 2008 - .net scriptmanager and prototype

I am trying to load prototype using the .net scriptmanager but I keep
getting an error saying ''missing call to
Sys.Application.notifyScriptLoaded''.  But if I include this call in
prototype, I get errors thrown at me.  Has anybody run into this type
of problem before?  Thanks in advance
