Rails spinoffs - Feb 2008 - Vista and Script Editing

Recommend an editor for getting started on Ruby on Rails for those
running Vista.  I''m running Vista home premium.  Which have you had
success with that are open-source and free to download?

I downloaded VIm, but haven''t gotten it up and running for the 5
minute test that''s featured in the Ruby read me file.  Want to ask
first and see what''s best for the platform for those who have traveled
the road before me.

Much appreciated everyone, and thanks for the community via
Scriptaculous which I had up and running in less than 10 minutes last
week.
