Hiya, I''ve recently been looking at removing the dependency in our CRM/CMS on MSIE XML Databinding so that it''ll run properly in Firefox.. The solution I''ve created uses the prototype.js lib so I thought I might share my efforts here if that''s ok? It''s still _very_ early days but there''s the beginnings of a writeup here: http://www.icommunicate.co.uk/articles/all/who_needs_databinding_9/ And a [slightly] more usable demo here: http://www.icommunicate.co.uk/tables/ ... if anyones interested in using it, helping me move forward with it or recommending a which OS license I could/should release it under then woo hoo! :-) ATB, Jim --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Spinoffs" group. That looks great! Regarding the license, why not got MIT (if you can). Thanks :-) It didn''t break then! .. so, like this: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php Much like perl/Cpan stuff right? :-/ Sounds good... It''s one of those things I''d rather was available for folk to use... there''s obviously the whole PHP underbelly too... but when I get round to it I''ll stick it in it''s own svn and leave a tarball on the site... Cheers, J.
