Rails spinoffs - Sep 2006 - sortable and Pulsate on Internet Explorer bug

Maybe someone can help me to make the Effect.Pulsate working on Internet
Explorer in this example?

<ul id="list">
<li>Element 1</li>
<li>Element 2</li>
</ul>

<script>
Sortable.create("list");
new Effect.Pulsate("list");
</script>
