Hi, I am trying to figure out how to go about this. I wish to have a hidden div, that expands on mouse out (hopefully grow). Then, use ajax to load a file (php and html). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Spinoffs" group. A quick string search through prototype.js for "iframe" has no results. The Yahoo! UI library has the iframe workaround included. Fror years I have been using "suckerfish" dropdown menus as found on A List Apart http://alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/ I was thinking on rewriting the JS to use scriptaculous blind down effect. But there is no point reinventing the wheel if this has already been done.... Ya, I admit it .. Im lazy.. any how, if any one knows if this has already been done please send me a link. Thanks. ______________________________________________________________________ Alex Duffield . Principal . Oh My God! I''ve been spending the last three days trying to figure out the exact same thing! Trying to use the Effect.toggle onMouseover/onMouseout and have been running into a world of issues... Let me know if you get this figured out. ~tim Alex Duffield wrote:> Fror years I have been using "suckerfish" dropdown menus as found on > A List Apart http://alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/ > > I was thinking on rewriting the JS to use scriptaculous blind down > effect. > > But there is no point reinventing the wheel if this has already been > done.... > > Ya, I admit it .. If I remember correctly, the biggest problem I was having with those events (in IE, of course) was that IE wasn''t handling block level padding appropriately. It''s been a while since I played with those events, though.
