Rails core - Aug 2008 - Patch review: Pass args to block for render :layout

I''m looking for some feedback on this ticket. I know it will be useful
in my app, and I''m wondering if you will find it useful too.

It basically allows you to pass arguments to a block when using
"render :layout" in the view. See description on ticket for details.
