A brief description is as follows: Title of Position: Telecommuting LEAD STATISTICIAN REQUIRED: . The ideal candidate will have experience with R and 1-2 years, or more, work placement/post-graduate work in an epidemiological research environment (regulatory, pharmaceutical or CRO) . Experience working in data mining or working with big data . Well-developed planning, observation, analytical and problem-solving skills . Experience designing, implementing and writing statistical analysis plans . The ability to articulate complex statistical/technical issues to non-experts . Project management, time management and technical capabilities . The ideal candidate will have Pharmaceutical / CRO experience in order to have a good understanding of the processes associated with the conduct of clinical trials and operations . This position Can be virtual but business is based in the North East. . Some travel to business sites in East coast locations. ? Other: . Strong written and verbal communication skills, this includes presentations skills (English) . Must be capable of building strong relationships with colleagues and service providers . A knowledge of working across international boundaries and cultures Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a complex matrix environment ? Job Description:? The Driving Site Health Statisticians Lead will: . Partner with business, data, technology, statistical and other colleagues/SMEs to develop hypothesizes regarding what makes an Investigator Site "Healthy", . Review and analyze hypothesis, questions or problems in order to deliver optimal plans/solutions to meet the needs, . Will partner with data/system SMEs to develop a robust understanding of available data attributes and limitations, . Partner with the Statistician Analyst to ensure data is cleaned, prepared and ready for statistical analysis, . Leverage statistical methodologies, techniques and analytics to deliver deep insights into "Site Health" i.e. epidemiology/correlations to relevant outcomes, . Develop cutting edge predictive modeling tools that enable CTSC to predict lower 'Site Health' . Partner with the Statistician Analyst to ensure effective delivery of repeatable statistical models programmed in R . Developing, implementing and, as needed, writing statistical analysis plans, . Be comfortable presenting and translating statistical concepts in simple terms to a broad range of audiences and stakeholders (external and internal), including senior executives . Manage projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and in a timely manner.
