The WALTHAM Centre for Pet Nutrition is the global hub of nutritional
expertise for Mars Petcare, with a remit to deliver ?high-quality,
innovative science conducted in a caring way?.

You?ll join a talented team of statisticians, setting and supporting the
roll-out of best practice in statistical and experimental methodology to
our pet care research sites around the globe. You will be involved in
solving methodological questions concerning the design of our trials whilst
your statistical programming skills will be utilised in developing tools to
enable product developers to do their own data analysis and reporting.
You?ll be expected to maintain awareness of new developments in statistics,
and will be able to take advantage of opportunities to attend courses and
conferences in relevant fields.

You?ll either have an MSc in statistics, or a BSc with relevant experience.
Strong R programming skills are essential, with experience of Visual Basic
also being advantageous. As you will be working to set and implement best
practice ideas across a number of sites, a drive for results and good
interpersonal skills are desirable.
