R help - Mar 2016 - ggplot2-theme(panel.border)

A quick question.  How come data points disappear when
?theme(panel.border=element_rect()) is used and how could I get those points
back on the plot ?

You can write "fill = NA" in the argument of element_rect(), that
should
solve your problem.
