The FAQ says in [5.2 How can add-on packages be installed?] to install a package to a private tree, use [$ R INSTALL -l lib pkgdir_1 ... pkgdir_n] where lib gives the path to the library tree to install to. which, for me, returns Package '-l' does not exist. Has there been a change?
